Farewell to Turkey
?? In this disco I also celebrated my farewell party on February 28 of 2020 to say goodbye to Turkey and Middle East, at least for a while. I had to celebrate it again with a latin party.
?? En esta discoteca celebré mi despedida el 28 de febrero de 2020 para decir adiós a Turquía y a Medio Oriente, al menos durante un tiempo. Tenía que celebrarlo nuevamente con una fiesta latina.
My personal Turkish Flag
??To the disco I took my ‘personal' and “culturally convenient size” Turkish Flag. You know, just in case. You never know when you are going to need one hahaha.
?? A la discoteca llevé mi bandera turca ‘personal' y de ”tamaño culturalmente conveniente”. Ya sabes, por si acaso. Tú nunca sabes cuando necesitarás una jajaja.
?? Saeli was feeling embarrassed for me (kind of… a lot!) and she told to me a few times that I should leave the flag at home and stop being silly. But I did it anyway. When I arrived the disco LEMUR Pub, I took a picture with the flag (OF COURSE!) and I was PROUD of doing so; but furthermore, I asked other Turkish friends (and strangers!!) to take a picture with me.
?? Saeli estaba avergonzada de me (un poco…. ¡bastante!) y ella me dijo algunas veces que debería dejar la bandera en casa y dejar de ser ridículo. Pero yo lo hice de todas maneras. Cuando llegué a la discoteca LEMUR Pub, me tomé una foto con la bandera (¡POR SUPUESTO!) y yo me sentía ORGULLOSO de hacerlo; pero sobretodo, pregunté a otros amigos (y a extraños) turcos que se tomen una foto conmigo.
Surprises along the way
?? 2 facts surprised me afterwards:
- People in the disco clapped at me for carrying around the Turkish flag (I'm serious here!).
- Two girls approached me and asked me if they could take a picture with my bayrak (the word in Turkish for flag). I let them (surprise surprise), they took the picture and they gave it back to me.
?? 2 hechos me sorprendieron posteriormente:
- La gente en la discoteca me aplaudió por llevar conmigo la bandera turca (¡En serio digo!).
- 2 chicas se acercaron a mí y me preguntaron si ellas se podían tomar una foto con mi bayrak (la palabra turca para bandera). Les permití (sorpresa sorpresa), se tomaron la foto y me la devolvieron.
?? Would you believe me if I said that I particularly over-happy that night? I didn't miss the chance to say to Saeli in a friendly way, with a mischief tone, smile and laughter:

?? ¿Me creerías si digo que esa noche estaba particularmente sobre contento? No perdí la oportunidad para decir a Saeli en una manera amistosa, con tono de broma, sonrisa y risa:
¡En tu cara!

At last!
??I ended up convincing Saeli that we should also take a picture with the flag. Now, she didn't any argument against it hahaha.
?? Terminé convenciendo a Saeli que deberíamos también tomarnos una foto con la bandera. Ahora, ella no tenía ningún argumento en contra jajaja.
?? So, that was my farewell latin party from Middle East. I hope that I can visit this beautiful country in the near future!
?? Así que, así fue mi despedida latina de Medio Oriente. ¡Espero que pueda visitar pronto este país hermoso!
